Convocation à l’assemblée générale annuelle de l’Association pour la protection du lac Lyster

Les membres de l’Association sont par la présente convoqués à l’assemblée générale qui aura lieu le vendredi 14 octobre 2022, à l’église Notre-Dame de la Salette, à Baldwin Mills, à 19 h 30. 

Pour avoir droit de parole et droit de vote, il faut être membre en règle de l’Association, soit adhérer à la mission de l’Association, décrite dans les Statuts et règlements disponibles sur le site internet de l’Association (appll.org), et avoir acquitté les frais d’adhésion annuels (2022-2023) avant le 15 septembre 2022.

Tel que le prévoient les règlements, 4 des 9 postes au conseil d’administration sont en élection cette année. L’ordre du jour de l’assemblée sera disponible sur le site internet de l’Association (appll.org) avant la fin du mois de septembre. Le procès-verbal de l’AGA de 2021 est déjà disponible sur le site internet. Pour sauver du temps, nous demandons à tous les participants d’avoir lu le PV qui devra être adopté par l’assemblée. Comme c’est le cas habituellement, en plus des élections, elle comportera un bilan des activités, le bilan financier ainsi que la présentation des projets en cours et du plan de travail pour la prochaine année.

Nous profitons de cet envoi « papier » pour suggérer à toutes et tous de s’inscrire à notre infolettre qui est le moyen privilégié pour renseigner quiconque sur les enjeux qui concernent la santé du lac et de son environnement.

Notice of the Annual General Meeting of the Association for the Protection of Lake Lyster (APPLL)

The members of the Association are hereby invited to the Annual General Meeting (AGM) which will take place on Friday, October 14, 2022, at the Notre-Dame de la Salette church, in Baldwin’s Mills, at 7:30 p.m.

To have the right to speak and the right to vote, you must be a member in good standing of the Association, adhere to the mission of the Association, described in the Statutes and regulations available on the website of the Association (appll.org ), and you must have paid the annual membership fees (2022-2023) before September 15, 2022.

As stipulated in the bylaws, 4 of the 9 positions on the Board of Directors are up for election this year. The agenda for the meeting will be available on the Association’s website (appll.org) before the end of September. The minutes of the 2021 AGM are already available on the website. To save time, we ask all participants to have read the minutes beforehand as they will be approved and adopted by the assembly. As is usually the case, in addition to the elections, there will be a report on APPLL activities, the financial report as well as the presentation of ongoing projects and the work plan for the coming year.

We are taking advantage of this “paper” mailing to suggest that everyone subscribe to our newsletter, which is the preferred way to inform all interested parties about the issues concerning the health of the lake and its environment.
